Seitzer is excited about being Royals hitting coach.... “It is a balance,” Seitzer said. “I think the most important thing for a hitting coach is to be adaptable, to try and give each hitter what he needs to hear. I’m really there for them to ask me questions. They’ll say, ‘What are you seeing?’ And I’ll try to give them one answer. “I think that’s the important thing. You can’t give a hitter too much. What they’re doing — trying to hit 95-mph fastballs and nasty breaking stuff — it’s really hard to do. It’s the hardest thing in the game, as far as I’m concerned. And they’re the ones doing it … I can’t do it. So I just hope to give them one thing that can help them.”   Click here for the full story.
