Mac-N-Seitz Baseball and Softball

Hello All,

I would like to introduce myself and give everyone a little personal background and my viewpoint as I start at Mac-N-Seitz as a Performance Trainer

The Mac-N-Seitz Athletic Performance Training center is excited to announce the addition of training specialist David Bromberg.  A Kansas City native, David will join the Mac-N-Seitz staff in January as one of the coordinators and program designers for the Athletic Performance Training center.

Mac-N-Seitz is proud to present the ability to rent facility time on the weekends from noon to 5:00 pm

Mac-N-Seitz is proud to present Livi Abney as their new director of softball operations. Livi is well respected in the game of softball with experience as a coach and player. Presently the coach at Shawnee Mission South High School, her goal is to expand Mac-N-Seitz’s reach in the softball community and continuing to promote our ever growing collegiate exposure program.

Starting January 19, 2013, all facility members will be required to check in and show their membership badge at the front counter before entering the facility.

Three-Pillar Candidate: Prep catcher Colby Fitch backs skills with remarkable stats

Allie MacFarlane is just a junior, but she is one of the top players for the Blue Valley North softball team.

The shortstop led the Mustangs in hitting at the halfway point of the season at .571. She had two home runs and 13 RBIs.

Kaelah McMullin had quite the weekend, throwing a no-hitter in a 14-0 victory against Blue Valley Southwest in the second game of a Lady Panther doubleheader sweep on Friday and walking in on the red carpet for her junior prom on Saturday.

The 11U Mac-N-Seitz Indians took 2^nd Place this past weekend in the 3^rd Annual AC Kings Indoor Invitational.

 Kevin Seitzer recently traveled to Switzerland to conduct hitting clinics and work with members of the Swiss National Team.

Mac N Seitz 10U Royals Major team finished a very successful season by winning the Global World Series in Bixby, Ok.

Hundreds of college athletes were asked to think back: "What is your worst memory from playing sports?"

Their overwhelming response: "The ride home from games with my parents."

Mike coached his kids after retirement and this is a letter to the parents on his team.  This may be the BEST letter I've ever read regarding youth baseball and is exactly what "The Mac-N-Seitz Way" is all about.  Please enjoy and help us get there!

Middle Tennessee first baseman Trent Miller has been named the Tennessee Sports Writers Association Player of the Week.

Cameron Seitzer tied his career high for hits in game by going a perfect 4-for-4 with a double and three RBIs for Double-A Montgomery in a 11-3 victory over Birmingham at Riverwalk Stadium.

The Saint Louis baseball team defeated the SIUE Cougars 7-5 Tuesday night at the Billiken Sports Center. It was the 208^th game played by senior 2B Mike Levine at Saint Louis, a school record for games played.

Nathan Winfrey has never been one to say much on the baseball diamond. He has simply let his game do all the talking since he appeared on the scene as a rare starting player his freshman year.

FUKUOKA, Japan -- If baseball ever evolves into a major sport in China, the nation's future ballplayers won't ever stop telling stories about Ray Chang.

Chang was the hero of China's first World Baseball Classic win back in 2009, and he delivered an encore performance in China's final game in the 2013 Classic with a go-ahead, two-run single in the bottom of the eighth inning that propelled the Chinese to a 5-2 win over Brazil on Tuesday at Fukuoka's Yafuoku Dome.

ST. LOUIS - Saint Louis freshman pitcher Laney Kneib (Webb City, Mo./Webb City) has been named Atlantic 10 Conference softball Rookie of the Week for her performances at last week's Jimmy John's Lion Classic 1 hosted by Southeastern Louisiana.

Former Mac-N-Seitz player earns All-South Central Region First Team Honors.

Josh Rogers, Mac-N-Seitz player and member of the Blue Valley North High School baseball team, made a spectacular catch to help his team win the 2012 Kansas 6A State Championship!

Congratulations to the former Mac-N-Seitz players who were selected on the first day of this year’s MLB Draft. Ty Hensley formerly of Mac-N-Seitz who finished his High School Career in Oklahoma and Colin Wiles who was a member of your 17U Indians team coached by Jeff Foster. Congrats and best of luck in your professional career!

CHICAGO (May 30, 2012) — In its 27th year of honoring the nation’s best high school athletes, The Gatorade Company, in collaboration with ESPNHS, today announced Collin Wiles of Blue Valley West High School as its 2011-12 Gatorade Kansas Baseball Player of the Year. Wiles is the second Gatorade Kansas Baseball Player of the Year to be chosen from Blue Valley West High School.

Eric Cheray, a former Mac-N-Seitz Indian who played under Mike Macfarlane, earns MVC All-Tournament honors.

Bowling Green's Cameron Seitzer is the son of MLB all-star and hitting coach Kevin Seitzer. 

Many young baseball players often talk about a particular major league player they idolized growing up - the player around whom they try to pattern their game.
